Where do our products come from?
Barricade Solutions plastic and rubber, lighting, hazard signs and mirror’s are sourced from a factory in Ningbo which has China’s second deepest port for easy shipments. Our supplier here has over 10,000m2 in four factory’s with 12 technical engineers and 288 workers. The Company Aim is “to be the best supplier of traffic products in the world”...big call!
They currently supply Japan, Germany, Spain, Russia, Europe, America, Australia, India, Korea, England, Taiwan and Hong Kong and all products come with factory backing.
Our steel products are made at a factory about 2.5 hours on a fast train North West of Shanghai in a city of 10 million called Nanjing.
Kevin Wang established his tools business in 1996 in the U.S. He was the first person to introduce power tools produced by China into the U.S. market allowing them to gain faith in “Made in China” products.
Along with the strengthening of the company, Kevin came to understand the ways of how the Northern American markets function. In 2001, Jonathan Peters (a friend for many years that grew up on a ranch in Canada) started to work together, importing farming equipment from China into North America. After research, they found that farming equipment in China was a blank page. As a result, Kevin and Jonathan decided to go back to China in 2003 and founded Pro-Built Machinery Cooperation which is dedicated to the production of farming equipment.
Kevin and Jonathan, worked together to manufacture and export the products into the North American market. Due to the experience gained in the U.S. market, Kevin pays a lot of attention to the relationships of his cooperatives. In 2009, he distributed the market so that the customers could grow together with Pro-Built.
Pro-Built is our major manufacturer of our steel products, including bollards of various sizes. We can quote and custom build any size project and supply throughout Australia.
How do we source our products?
We have a trade assistant working for us currently based in Shanghai who will transfer to Australia shortly. She is responsible for developing and expanding our product offering.
Why are some of your products substantially cheaper?
Our products offer serious savings as we have used a simplistic method to source and better the freight rates by buying in bulk from the source – China, where all is made now!
What warranty or guarantee do you offer?
Some products are abused like... the “ol safety cones” and bollards. These products are replaced if the customer is not happy on delivery. Other products like steel bollards have to be installed correctly, and are built to industry standards. Some solar products will have warranties of up to 10 years on the solar panels on larger commercial applications.
