Barricade Solutions has been a Supplier of OH&S (occupational health and safety) products in the Bowen Basin since 1997. We are a family owned and operated business that has its own embroidery service.
Barricade solutions was born out of necessity to import products and hold large stock lines in products that have traditionally been only available from the cities. Our parent Company is Totally Workwear Mackay and is the largest independent store within the group of 56 stores. Totally Workwear Mackay boast’s being the largest independent retailer of Steel blue boots in Queensland and likewise with King Gee industrial workwear.
There is a constant push for the workplace to be as safe as possible and Barricade Solutions will help serve part of the industrial safety requirements locally and by web-site sales to Australia at very competitive prices.
Introducing 'BallTearer'
Barricade Solutions is proud to announce the birth of 'BallTearer' (Collins Dictionary 'Something exceptional in its class'). 5 Blokes in the workwear industry with 70+ years collective experience plus 9 retail outlets behind them, covering 5 states in Australia were disillusioned with the monopoly suppliers who had a poor supply record.
These blokes went to work and built a 'Premium' brand of mine industry tough workwear. Specializing in Hi-Vis taped (and untaped) workwear, the product is limited to the heavy duty industrial style. These products use premium cloth and thread, thicker buttons (better for large fingers), 3M tape, under arm vents in the heavy weight cloth and double stitched in all construction joints including the pockets.
Yes this stuff is a real 'BallTearer'. It passes 50+ UPF rating (Australian nuclear testing) with a rating of excellent. Independent tests were done on the garments alongside the two biggest names in the industry and our results blew them away!
'BallTearer' is the first workwear supplier to use 'global-mark' www.global-mark.com.au in Australia. This range of products will not be readily available in workwear outlets, but is available through negotiation of needs and specifications with a simple formula: we will hold stock and guarantee supply and fixed price (something we have never been able to do before) with a customer guarantee to use the minimum quantity’s (500). This will suit middle to large companies.
In the World today with failed cotton crops, difficulty in keeping workers (China), substitution of 3M tape for chinese (mainly due to the China Government wanting to protect it's local Ref. Tape industry/restricting large quantities of 3M tape inside China). This is perfect for the Boutique operators like 'BallTearer'.
What 'Balltearer' and Barricade Solutions can offer is a guaranteed supply on time with a premium garment (in our view the best available in Australia) with National coverage and complete embroidery system’s in place.
